Abstract

Fair international regulation is becoming increasingly important amidst current global challenges, such as economic inequality, climate change, and human rights violations. Civic education plays a strategic role in shaping global awareness of these issues and encouraging individuals to play an active role in creating a more just world. The purpose of this article is to examine how civic education can shape understanding of fair international regulation and increase citizens' awareness of their rights and obligations at the global level. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a literature analysis method of various current sources related to civic education, international regulation, and social justice. The results of the study show that through an analysis of various existing studies and theories, this study identifies the role of civic education based on the values ​​of social justice, human rights, and global governance in encouraging individuals to contribute to more inclusive international policies. The results of the study indicate that civic education can equip the younger generation with a deeper understanding of global dynamics, as well as strengthen their awareness of the importance of fair regulation in various aspects, both economic, social, and environmental. In addition, this study also found that a citizenship education curriculum based on global issues can encourage active participation in creating fairer and more sustainable policies at the international level.
