Pelaksanaan Strategi Pembelajaran Tahsin Al-Qur’an dengan Metode Ummi untuk Jamaah Paruh Baya

This research is motivated by the large number of male and female Muslims whose reading of the Qur'an is still not quite right, both in terms of pronunciation and tajwid knowledge. Especially the reading of the Qur'an owned by the Middle-Aged. Because currently it is still rare to find Qur'an education aimed at the Middle-Aged. The purpose of this study is to explore the implementation and obstacles of the Tahsin Al-Qur'an learning strategy with the Ummi method for Middle-Aged congregations at the Nahdlatul Ummah Singosaren Mosque. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach, where the data results are obtained from observation, interview and documentation activities. With data sources obtained from Kyai, Ustadz teachers and congregations who participate in the Tahsin Al-Qur'an activities. The results of the study show that from the results of the data analysis obtained it can be concluded that 1) in its implementation, this tahsin activity uses the Ummi method with three approach methods, three learning methods and seven steps in its implementation. By using the Ummi method learning strategy, currently the reading owned by each individual has begun to progress both in terms of makharijul huruf and tajwid. This can be seen from the three methods used, one of which is the classical method, namely reading and listening which is used as an evaluation result. There are obstacles including age factors, time allocation and the number of congregations that are uncertain.
