Human rights are basic rights that must be respected by every individual, including the right to freedom of religion. In a pluralistic campus environment, the issue of tolerance between religious communities is very important to study. This study aims to analyze the role of students in responding to the right to freedom of religion on campus. This research method uses a quantitative approach. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 42 students from various religious backgrounds at several universities. The results of the study showed that the majority of students had a positive attitude towards freedom of religion and showed a high level of tolerance in social interactions on campus. Statistical analysis using simple linear regression showed a significant relationship between the level of students' understanding of human rights and tolerant attitudes towards religious diversity. This study recommends strengthening human rights education and interfaith dialogue as a strategy to strengthen harmony in the academic environment.
