Abstract

The Iqro' method is one of the methods or fast ways to learn to read the Qur'an for early childhood. The purpose of this study is to explore children so that they can pronounce the hijaiyah letters properly and correctly and can make it easier for children to read the Qur'an. This research method uses a qualitative method through a descriptive approach with the subject of the Iqro' method. The results of this study indicate that the introduction of hijaiyah letters has been carried out quite well. However, there are still several problems including inappropriate classroom management, methods and learning media that are still monotonous. So, it can be concluded that the implementation of learning to introduce hijaiyah letters through the Iqro' method can be adjusted to the characteristics and needs of early childhood.
