Education quality management is an important aspect in improving the quality of Islamic educational institutions, especially Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) that possess unique characteristics based on Islamic values. This study aims to analyze and develop an education quality management model at Pondok Pesantren Al Fattah Kartasura to make it more systematic, adaptive, and sustainable. The research employs a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and literature studies to understand the implementation of education quality management within the pesantren environment. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of quality management has been carried out through educational program planning, the learning process, and the evaluation of students’ activities. The pesantren also integrates religious values with modern management principles through character building and student discipline development. However, several obstacles still exist, such as limited facilities and infrastructure, an administrative system that has not yet been fully optimized, and program evaluations that have not been implemented effectively. In addition, the competence of human resources still needs to be improved in order to keep up with the development of modern educational systems. This study contributes to the development of an Islamic education quality management model that can serve as a reference for other Islamic boarding schools in improving the quality of educational management effectively and in accordance with contemporary developments.
