Employee performance plays an important role in the success of an organization, especially in the public service sector, effective communication and a good work environment are believed to be able to improve employee performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of communication and work environment on employee performance at the Management Unit of Other Individual Service Apartments (PJLP) (UPRS) IV Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach with 40 respondents through random sampling techniques. Data were collected using validity tests, reliability tests, data classification assumption tests, namely normality tests, heterogeneity tests, multicollinearity tests and multicollinearity tests, hypothetical tests, namely T tests and F tests, determination coefficient tests (R2). The results of the t-test show that communication (X1) has a significant influence on employee performance with a significance value of 0.004 <0.05 and a value of 3.107> table 2.026. work environment (X2) has a significant influence on employee performance with a value of 0.001 <0.05 and a value of 3.813> 2.026. The F-test showed significant simultaneous results, with a calculated F of 25.047 > Ftable 1 of 3.252 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. The R² value of 0.552 indicates that 55.2% of employee performance is influenced by communication and the work environment, with the remainder being influenced by other factors.
