The Impact of Job Training and Competence on Employee Performance at PT. DIKA Central Jakarta

Human resources play a crucial role in driving company activities. However, issues within human resources often hamper company operations, one of which is employee performance. This study aims to determine the effect of job training and competency on the performance of factory employees at PT. DIKA, Central Jakarta. This research method is quantitative and explanatory. A sample of 40 respondents was used, using a census sampling technique. Data collection used a questionnaire with a Likert scale measurement. Data analysis used SPSS Version 27. The results of this study indicate that training and competency have a positive effect on employee performance. Training has a 35.2% effect on employee performance. Competence has a 6.6% effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, training and competency together have a 43.9% effect on employee performance. Based on the research findings regarding the significant influence of training and competency on employee performance, it is recommended that companies pay more attention to the job training and competency provided to factory employees to support employee performance.
