The Influence of Compensation and Work Environment on Job Satisfaction of Employees at the Directorate General of State Assets

The background of this research is based on the importance of the role of competent human resources and employee satisfaction that is achieved well in order to be motivated in supporting organizational effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of compensation and work environment on job satisfaction of employees of the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) in Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach with a random sampling technique with a population of 35 people with the same sample of 35 people. Data collection uses primary data with the analysis method is multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that based on the results of the hypothesis test, it shows that compensation on job satisfaction of employees of the Directorate General of State Assets has a positive and significant influence based on the results of the t test obtained a t-count value greater than t-table (5.794> 2.037) and significant (0.000 <0.05) and the work environment on job satisfaction of employees of the Directorate General of State Assets has a positive and significant influence based on the results of the t test obtained a t-count value greater than t-table (5.035> 2.037) and significant (0.000 <0.05). Meanwhile, simultaneously, compensation and work environment have a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction of employees at the Directorate General of State Assets. Based on the results of the f-test, the calculated f-value is greater than the f-table (24.875 > 3.29) and is significant (0.000 < 0.05).
